Our roots
It was back in 1800 when Giuseppe Maugeri bought this ancient vineyard between the Etna and the sea. The marvellous landscape pushed him to expand the palmento to build a holiday house for his beloved. In the 1960s, after the last difficult harvest, the Maugeri’s decided to transform the vineyard into a lemons and oranges cultivation, however preserving the palmento and the bottaia. The will to share our Family history is the basis of our hospitality concept.
